Chevron ridges and a soft blue satin surface give this vase its presence before a single flower goes in. Vintage glass need not match the rest of a room to belong there — a shape with this much texture can hold its own.
The fluted, geometric pattern rises through the body and reaches the rim, while the generous opening suits a loose arrangement of stems. A considered addition to a shelf of collected glass, it looks equally good displayed empty where the light can find its sculptural lines. The existing attribution is to Polish pressed glass of the 1970s, possibly Ząbkowice; no confirmed maker is recorded for this vase.

Condition
Good vintage condition with minimal surface wear. There are small nicks (flea bites) on vertical ridges near the base, as well as small straw marks and air bubbles. Two fine lines are visible on the inner surface near the upper rim; they are not visible from outside. The existing condition report describes them as manufacturing marks rather than cracks, but please inspect the photographs closely. No staining or restoration noted.

Care
Hand wash gently in cool to lukewarm water with mild detergent and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid the dishwasher, abrasive cleaners and sudden changes in temperature to protect the satin finish.
