To: Me, Love: Me: How Your Vintage Christmas Surprise Works
You know what everyone else would love to find under the tree. But when did you last put something there without knowing exactly what was inside?
To: Me, Love: Me is my invitation to be surprised for a change: a personally curated vintage gift, chosen around what you love, beautifully gift wrapped and ready for Christmas morning. If the idea appeals but you would like to understand the practicalities before handing over the choosing, here is how it works.
A surprise, but not a random selection
Choose your gift tier and complete your purchase. I will then email you a short set of questions about your preferences. Simply reply with your answers, adding an optional note if there is anything else you would like me to know.
I ask about useful pieces versus display-only objects, the kinds of vintage you enjoy, favourite colours, colours to avoid, styles and eras, whether you prefer one statement piece or are open to several smaller pieces, and anything you definitely do not want. Your dislikes are every bit as helpful as your favourites.
Those answers guide my selection. You are buying my expertise and creative judgement, rather than choosing an exact piece, maker, colour or number of items. The contents stay a surprise.
Three tiers, with the vintage at the heart of the value
The gift tiers are A$95, A$150 and A$295. The combined normal individual retail prices of the vintage pieces I select will meet or exceed your chosen tier's value. Included standard Australian postage and the complimentary little gifts I add are extra: neither counts towards that vintage-item value.
You can tell me whether you would prefer one statement piece or are happy with several smaller pieces of the same combined value. This is a preference to guide my curation, not a guarantee of an exact item count.
Not just what you see in the online shop
I select from my extensive collection of vintage across a wide range of styles and categories, including pieces that are not listed online. Browsing the shop can give you a sense of my eye, but it does not show every possibility available for your parcel.
I personally check each piece and select only pieces I consider to be in excellent condition, with no damage or condition concerns. These are genuine vintage objects, not newly manufactured gifts. Exact pieces may not be restockable, which is worth remembering if you fall in love with something and later hope to find another.
Ready for your place under the tree
Your gift arrives beautifully gift wrapped, with a personal note to open with it on Christmas morning. Every package also includes complimentary little gifts from me, extra surprises offered free of charge and additional to your chosen vintage tier.
When the parcel arrives, open the outer shipping carton, remove the wrapped inner gift and place it under the tree. Keep the inner gift wrapped until Christmas. You can deal with the delivery parcel without spoiling the surprise.
Can you buy one for someone else?
Yes, if you know their tastes well. Answer every preference question about the person receiving the gift and enter their delivery address at checkout. The questions and order and dispatch updates go to you as the purchaser, helping keep the contents a surprise for the recipient.
Australian postage and Christmas timing
This Christmas 2026 launch is available for delivery within Australia. All three tiers include standard Australian postage via Australia Post Parcel Post. There is also a flat A$10 Express Post upgrade, subject to availability for your address. That is an upgrade surcharge, not a second full postage charge.
The current recommended Christmas order deadlines are:
- Standard postage: order by 15 December 2026.
- Express Post: order by 21 December 2026, subject to the paid upgrade being available for your address.
These are recommended order deadlines for the best chance of Christmas arrival, not guaranteed delivery dates. Regional and remote destinations may need extra time. Express Post is a faster option, not a promise of next-day delivery. If your address is remote or you are ordering close to a deadline, please contact me before purchasing to discuss timing.
Your reply is part of the preparation
I need your preferences before I can curate, wrap and dispatch your gift, so please reply promptly to my email. Ordering by a recommended deadline is not enough on its own if your answers arrive too late to prepare and send your parcel.
If you cannot find my questions, check your spam or junk folder, then contact me with your order number. For last-minute orders, please get in touch before buying so we can check whether there is time.
Orders remain welcome after the Christmas deadlines, but arrival before Christmas cannot be promised. Please order after those dates only if you are happy for your gift to arrive after Christmas.
What if the style isn't right for you?
I offer one style-only courtesy exchange. For gifts delivered on or before 25 December 2026, please request your exchange by 8 January 2027. For gifts delivered after Christmas, please contact me within 14 days of delivery.
You pay the return postage and return the item in its original condition. I'll email photographs of available alternatives in the same value tier for you to choose from, which may be one statement piece or several smaller pieces. I cover standard Australian postage for one replacement shipment. The same design in a different colour cannot be guaranteed; alternatives depend on the vintage stock available.
If your parcel arrives damaged or there is a problem with an item, please contact me directly so I can help. That is separate from a style-only courtesy exchange.
A little reassurance before you choose
Afterpay is also available at checkout.
