The Tea Table

The ritual of tea — and the quiet pleasure of coffee — has inspired some of the finest ceramic making the world has ever seen. The Tea Table brings together a broad and carefully curated collection of mostly vintage teaware from the great English makers alongside German and Nordic producers: tea cups, saucers, duos and trios; complete and partial tea and coffee sets; demitasse cups and saucers; tennis sets; teapots; and coffee cups and mugs. Each piece carries the particular charm of something made when the table was still set with intention — when a beautiful cup was considered as important as what went in it.
